Born and raised in Sukamade Village deep inside Meru Betiri rainforest. Rohim began his conservation journey as a volunteer beach patrol with park rangers. He knows every nesting sector, green sea turtle behavioral patterns, and jungle paths surrounding the station.

Eko coordinates visitor conservation briefings and enforces strict red-light-only observation standards. He is trained in nest relocation away from predator threats and scientific hatchling monitoring in the ranger station nursery.

“Watching a 200 kg mother turtle emerge from the waves and deposit her clutch under starlight is an experience that permanently transforms how people see nature.”
